Enjoying lemonade and a gorgeous fall day ~ the launch team: Joanne Glynn, Diane Franko, Diane Williams, Sandy Schmidtbauer and Lana Williams
This incredible group of G-Friends (Grandma/Girl Friends) went to Pequot Lakes with me for a long weekend of fun, food, laughter, tears and of course prayer, as we ran the prototype for Grandma’s Day Away to Play and Pray.
We had an awesome time and they assure me you will love this one-day retreat!
SPEAKING:
Lana offers a series of speaking topics titled Hope in the Shadows. This series can be broken into short segments for a worship service, into hour and longer segments for special events and custom designed to create a retreat or series for your group.
All of the topics are designed to inspire and encourage others in the tough times of life. Exercising Your Faith is a popular topic that helps to equip us to prepare for the shadows of life by using seven steps that strengthen us in our faith walk.
Hope in the Shadows incorporates a call to prayer and shows us we are not powerless in harsh circumstances. This presentation will offer hope and encourage strength and perseverance.
Hope in the Shadows is wide in scope, flexible and adaptable to any event time frame your group or church may wish to offer.
PRAYER MINISTRY CONSULTATION:
If you desire to start a prayer ministry in your church, or perhaps to strengthen a ministry that is already in place, consider inviting Lana to come and share her insight to help make prayer at your church an exciting ministry; filled with integrity and excellence in the Lord!
Lana offers a consultation with Pastors, Prayer Coordinators and others in leadership and will walk beside you to help provide a solid, strong foundation for prayer ministry in your church. Lana served as Prayer Coordinator for North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills, Minnesota, a church with two campuses, and 7,000 members. The experience was very successful and rewarding.
The following announcement was placed in the Up To Date church communication when Lana left the position of Prayer Coordinator to further pursue speaking and writing. “North Heights is profoundly grateful for the care and compassion, integrity and excellence Lana Williams has brought to North Heights Prayer Ministry. We are a better church, a more prayerful church, a church increasingly able to walk into the most difficult places with people and cover them with prayer. As Lana walks into the next season of life, she goes surrounded in our prayer, love, and with a profound appreciation for the ways she has shared herself, her gifting, and her passion for prayer with all of us.”
If your church is lacking a passion for prayer, consider inviting Lana to share her insight.
